Web Design Essentials
Web Design Essentials The websites are created for different purposes, such as selling products, providing services or the sharing of information. The only thing that all sites have in common is the need to attract visitors and keep them retuing on a regular basis. To do this you need a website design that is pleasing to see, easy to navigate and offers good content. The first thing that every visitor sees your site is the home page. This should be the design of your starting point. You can expand on it to create other pages, but you want to keep the design onsistent page by page. In other words, if your home page is black and gold, do not want the other red and green pages. The graphics you use in particular for your site should blend into the color of your choice. Colors and nice graphics will make your site. Ease of navigation is a must. Go to page must be as simple as possible. Each page should have a link to the home page. Visitors want to know where they are and how to get back to where they were without having to use the back button. Nine times out of ten, which closes the page, rather than continually using the back button to try to find their way back. The content is the foundation of any website. Errors of spelling and grammar are not a professional appearance. Ask someone to correct all items before you add. Offer content that is specific to the theme of your site. If I do a search to find the jungle animals to your site, then I do not want to find the content that most conces the solar system. Web design and eighty-five per cent of common sense. You know what you see on other websites. Be sure and use the same criteria for creating a website.
